
Mandisa Mbali is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the University of Stellenbosch. In 2009, she completed her doctoral dissertation in Modern History at the University of Oxford, where she was a KwaZulu-Natal Rhodes Scholar. In 2011 she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the History of Medicine at Yale University. Mbali has served on the Thuthuka and Sabbatical Grant Technical Review Panels of the National Research Foundation and she also sits on the KwaZulu-Natal Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee.
