Prof Fulufhelo Nelwamondo is an Executive Director of Modelling and Digital Science at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research as well as a visiting professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Johannesburg where he supervises a number of Masters and PhD Engineering students. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Prof Nelwamondo received the Order of Mapungubwe (highest honours that a country, through its President, bestows on its citizens) in Silver, in line with the powers vested in the President of the Republic, in terms of Section 84 of the Constitution of South Africa, on 28 April 2017.
