Aldo Stroebel is Executive Director International Relations and Cooperation at the National Research Foundation. He is Affiliated Associate Professor at the Centre for Sustainable Agriculture, University of the Free State (UFS) focusing on smallholder livestock systems in Sub-Saharan Africa. He qualified with BSc and Honours degrees from the University of Pretoria, and a Masters from the University of Ghent, Belgium before researching for his PhD at UFS and Cornell University, USA.
